At a time when progressive values and achievements are under attack, some “progressives” are trying to exclude or diminish Jews, decrying their support for Israel. This divisive maneuver disputes Israel’s existence as the Jewish homeland; denies the strong support for progressive causes in American jewish history; and would undermine the very nature of the progressive movement.
